Folded Life is a short film weaving together live-action footage and stop-motion animation, anchored by a single moment of rest taken by an elderly factory worker. Denim fabric serves as both material and metaphor — it fades, creases, and bears the imprint of its wearer, much like an ordinary woman shaped and softened by a lifetime of living. The instant she lays her head down, the cloth clutched in her hand transforms into a stop-motion world, where handcrafted fabric figures silently trace the arc of love, loss, and farewell. Dominated by indigo tones, the film weaves the mechanical rhythm of the loom into the texture of memory — searching, between every stitch and loose thread, for a quiet testament to a life of giving that the world forgot to remember.
